Our methodology has resulted in a diverse range of commercial sustainability solutions ranging from a reality TV show through to online digital marketplaces.
Behaviour Change Using Reality TV
We worked with the New South Wales Government, CSIRO, and the Co-operative Research Centre for Low Carbon Living to develop a strategy for a behaviour change program with the objective of getting consumers to build more sustainable housing.
The solution developed using our methodology was a new Reality TV show called Renovate or Rebuild that harnesses the reach of popular mass media content (similar to shows like the Property Brothers or Grand Designs) with the latest behavioural science insights to drive consumer aspirations for sustainable housing.
Sustainable Urban Farming
We worked with the University of Sydney and the New South Wales Government to develop a strategy for the University of Sydney to establish a strategic capability in Urban Agriculture with a view to taking a lead role as a provider of world class education, talent, research and commercialisation capability.
The strategy was underpinned by circular economy principles: integrating food production, industry collaboration, research and development, and energy, waste and water management.
Sustainable Online Marketplace
We prototyped, designed and built a new online platform to address sustainability in the Australian residential sector whilst generating jobs, social connections and local economic activity.
Our team worked along side specialists from the CSIRO to collaboratively develop a solution, undertake customer testing, and build the digital platfiorm as well as the fundamentals of the underlying venture and business model.
