The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment engaged the Blue Tribe Company to develop an innovative business model design toolkit to support the development of scalable carbon reduction programmes and outcomes from their $2Billion Net Zero Plan. This project synthesised the latest innovations and knowledge associated with business model design for sustainability.
The business model design kit includes key tools, case studies and worked examples to develop sustainability business models that deliver impact at scale.
The Solution
The innovation framework and toolkit developed by our team incorporates the latest insights into sustainable business model design, uses 21 sustainable business model design patterns to assist users, features 65+ case studies and numerous business model design tools.
The NET ZERO Plan is forecast to deliver a 35% emissions reduction in New South Wales by 2030 compared to where we were in 2005, and that is our objective over the next decade. The NSW and Commonwealth Governments will invest almost $2 billion over 10 years to Reduce emissions in NSW – making this the most comprehensive, fully-funded plan in Australia. The Plan also paves the way to achieving a net zero future by accelerating the next wave of innovative technologies.
